Our Pedagogical Approach for Businesses

Language as a lever for professional performance.

Language training designed to sustainably transform business communication, from the first session to the field.

"Mastering a language is built through action. Our training programmes immerse participants in authentic professional situations from the very first session, anchoring what is learnt and ensuring a lasting, tangible impact on their day-to-day reality."

Our pedagogical commitment

Our approach

A human, active and structured pedagogy

Our methodology is grounded in the neuroscience of learning : active practice, interaction, memory anchoring, targeted repetition and immediate reuse in a real professional context.

01

The learner at the centre

Every programme starts with an in-depth needs analysis and a CEFR level test. Objectives are set in dialogue with participants — in line with andragogy principles — to reflect their real professional expectations.

02

Active, action-based pedagogy

Learners are never passive : they produce, interact, solve problems and co-construct. Role-plays, meeting simulations, negotiations, presentations — every activity is designed to be put to use immediately in the field.

03

100% immersion in the target language

From the very first session, courses are taught exclusively in the target language by native or bilingual trainers. This constant immersion speeds up acquisition and naturally builds oral confidence.

04

Growth mindset & supportiveness

Mistakes are never penalised — they become learning opportunities. Our trainers create a psychologically safe environment that encourages linguistic risk-taking and nurtures long-term motivation.

05

Small groups & peer learning

A maximum of 4 to 9 participants per group. This size guarantees meaningful speaking time for everyone, maximum interaction, and peer learning that turns diverse profiles into a pedagogical strength.

06

Total flexibility & personalisation

At your premises, in a CLL centre or online — with the same pedagogical quality. Hybrid formats, rescheduling options, content tailored to your sector (Management, Finance, IT, Healthcare, Industry...).

Differentiation & heutagogy

Every learner progresses their own way

We don't diversify the objectives — we let everyone reach them by different paths. Indeed, in a heutagogical approach, learners take ownership of their journey, while the trainer becomes a facilitator and coach.

Content

Varying resources and materials to reach the same objective, depending on each learner's profile, sector and professional context. Authentic documents, often brought in by the participants themselves.

Process

Adapting instructions, the level of guidance and activities to level, pace and learning style — without losing group cohesion.

Output

Offering several ways to demonstrate what's been learnt : oral, written, visual or collaborative production. Feedback is deferred, individualised and structured around three dimensions : feed-up, feed-back, feed-forward.

Environment

Creating a supportive, motivating and safe atmosphere that encourages linguistic risk-taking. The diversity of profiles within the group becomes a learning asset, not an obstacle.

Pedagogical action

The 4 verbs that guide our trainers

Plan

Organising learning around objectives that are clear, motivating and progressively achievable.

Identify

Recognising existing knowledge to build new skills on solid foundations.

Clarify

Clarifying objectives and steps to give everyone the same chance of success.

Recognise

Recognising progress, encouraging effort and nurturing long-term motivation.

Intercultural intelligence

Speaking a language means understanding those who speak it

In an international professional environment, intercultural intelligence is often the deciding factor behind a successful collaboration. Our trainers build this dimension in from the very first lesson.

🤝

Codes & customs

The cultural conventions that govern professional communication in every language and every geographical context.

💬

Communication styles

Structuring an argument, expressing disagreement, building a relationship of trust — the way each culture does it.

🌍

International collaboration

Navigating multicultural teams with ease and adapting your style to the dynamics of the group.

Our solution — Dedicated workshop

Cultural Clash Café

Immediate transfer

From the classroom to the field

Companies don't buy language courses. In fact, they invest in employees who communicate better, are more persuasive and collaborate with ease. Every CLL Business activity is designed to be put to use immediately.

Quality commitment

Results that are measurable and certified

Concretely, an assessment framework supports every programme in three stages — from initial placement to a detailed final report.

1

Before training

L-Testing® placement test : written and oral level, anonymised, 5 skills assessed, aligned with the CEFR. Formation of homogeneous groups and setting of precise objectives.

2

During training

Regular formative assessments, structured feedback (feed-up / feed-back / feed-forward), satisfaction survey at 30% of the programme, continuous monitoring via L-Campus®.

3

After training

Personalised report by skill : initial/final level, strengths, areas for improvement and recommendations going forward — accessible via L-Management®.

Quality Advisors & classroom visits

A dedicated team for qualitative follow-up : regular classroom observations followed by a debrief with the trainer, participant interviews, and ongoing coordination with your organisation.

Carefully selected, continuously trained trainers

L-Boost Academy ensures our trainers' skills are continuously updated through a structured professional development programme combining pedagogical training, innovation, digital tool proficiency and expertise-sharing.

This quality is built on four interdependent pillars : 1) proven pedagogical expertise, 2) active, contextualised facilitation, 3) structured follow-up throughout the programme, and 4) data-driven steering. Together, they guarantee not only the excellence of every training programme, but also the reliability and continuous improvement of the entire system.
