What are the language levels based on?
The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is a tool for assessing language skills. The organisation of CEFR levels reflects the concrete use of communicating in a language in real life. Activities are grouped in to 4 language skills: Reception, Production, Interaction and Mediation.
The CEFR descriptors specify progressive mastery of each skill, which is graded on a six-level scale (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2)
