Is it difficult to learn Japanese?

Learning Japanese can seem a challenge at first, especially with its unique writing system and different grammatical structure.

1. Writing system: Japanese uses three different alphabets: hiragana, katakana and kanji.
   It may seem complicated at first, but with practice and perseverance, you’ll get the hang of it.
2. Grammatical structure: Japanese sentence structure differs from that of European languages.
   For example, the verb is usually placed at the end of the sentence.
   This may take a little getting used to, but with practice it will become more natural.
3. Pronunciation: Japanese pronunciation can be a challenge, especially sounds that don’t exist in French.
   Listening to lots of Japanese and practising pronunciation regularly can help you improve your accent and comprehension.
4. Motivation and interest: If you’re passionate about Japanese culture, music, manga, anime, etc., this can make learning Japanese more fun and less difficult.
5. Learning resources: There are many resources for learning Japanese, including books, apps, websites and more.
   Find the methods that suit you best.
