Our thematic lessons will help you develop your practical knowledge of the language so that you feel at ease and are able to communicate orally with confidence and spontaneity.

Our thematic lessons will help you develop the 4 skills in real-life situations you encounter every day. Grammar and vocabulary are covered on a theme-by-theme basis.

OBJECTIVES

at the end of the week, you will be able to : Beginners

• speak: produce simple sentences about yourself, people, objects and everyday life.
• listening: understand an advertisement in a public place; numbers, times and prices.
• read: understand simple messages on social networks.
• write: complete a registration form.
• Grammar: master simple grammatical forms, such as conjugation, negation and interrogation, etc.
• Vocabulary: use a repertoire of vocabulary that allows you to respond to immediate, concrete needs.

Intermediaries

• speak: indicate your musical preferences by making comparisons.
• listening: understand short audio excerpts (weather, sports results, concert and festival announcements, etc.).
• read: find specific information in online ads.
• write: design an information campaign poster
• Grammar: master intermediate grammatical forms, such as simple past and future tenses and comparisons.
• Vocabulary: use a repertoire of vocabulary to get by in most everyday situations.

Advanced

• speak: recount the details of a past experience, in chronological order.
• listen: distinguish the main ideas of podcasts on the environment.
• read: agree or disagree with a book/movie/album review.
• writing: write an article for an online newspaper on a topical subject.
• Grammar: master advanced grammatical forms such as indirect discourse, the conditional tense, etc.
• Vocabulary: communicate clearly in unexpected situations, using a wide range of vocabulary.

• Before the course: you must complete and submit your needs analysis.
• The first class: you bring your school supplies.
• During the course: the trainer/coach works on the material (in groups and individually).
• At the end of each day, the trainer/coach gives work to prepare for the following day, which both consolidates what has been learned and introduces the material for the next course.

At the end of the course, a pedagogical report is sent to the parents. This contains the trainer’s/coach’s observations and advice for further learning. This report is accompanied by a certificate of participation.

Note: documents sent only to students who have completed 80% of the course.

1. Learn or improve the basics of Japanese and get to know/understand the codes of Japanese culture.
2. By the end of the course, participants will be able to: greet, say goodbye, introduce themselves, use basic kanji and understand a few Japanese cultural codes.

• Introduction to the basics of the writing systems (hiragana and katakana).
• Study of everyday Japanese expressions.
• Presentation of expressions characteristic of manga.
• Grammatical discoveries based on manga excerpts.
