Anyone wishing to retrain as a language trainer.

3. What are the training objectives?

Acquire the theoretical and, above all, practical knowledge and skills needed to teach a foreign language.

4. Prerequisites / What are the prerequisites?

  • Track 1: Graduate degree with a linguistic orientation and excellent level in the language to be taught (C2).
  • Track 2: Excellent level in the language to be taught (C2).
  • Access to a computer and a good Internet connection.
  • Be available for face-to-face seminars in Brussels on Saturday mornings.

Course 1
(53 hours) :

  • Pedagogical approach to language courses – 14 hours
  • Specificities of different audiences – 3 hours
  • Course formats and modalities – 3 hours
  • Course materials – 3 hours
  • Technical approach: digitizing education – 10 hours
  • Observation internship – 10 hours
  • Progressive practical training – 10 hours
  • Evaluation – Internship report

(83 hours) :

  • Language didactics – 10 hours
  • CEFR – 10 hours
  • Language course methodology – 10 hours

7. How can I access the site?

To access our program, the process is simple:

  1. start by filling in our online application form,
  2. Then we’ll set up a one-to-one videoconference interview to discuss your motivations and gain a better understanding of your background,
  3. Finally, at this meeting, we’ll explain in detail how our program works, as well as its pedagogical and practical aspects.

8. What are the assessment procedures?

  • Validation by module
  • Final internship report
  • A training certificate is issued at the end of the course.

9. Will there be support?

You benefit from the support of your language referent throughout the training course.

10. What’s the timetable?

Training runs from September to December, from October to January ?

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday by videoconference from 6pm to 8pm.

Saturday morning face-to-face at CLL Brussels from 9:00 to 12:00.

11. How much does it cost?

  • Course 1: €450 incl. tax
  • Course 2: €600 incl. tax

We’ll refund €200 if you get your final certificate!
