Put your chances on your side and validate your Dutch skills at CLL Brussels!

The CNaVT exam is the official international exam for Dutch as a foreign language. The CNaVT is for anyone over the age of 16 who wants to assess their real-life skills in Dutch.

How does the CNaVT exam work?

The exam consists of three parts.

  • The A part contains various tasks associated with an excerpt designed for listening comprehension.
  • The B part tests reading comprehension and writing skills.
  • The C part tests oral skills. The examiner runs through parts A and B in the conventional way. In part C, the examiner organises an individual interview with each candidate.
